The Process
Our understanding of living a biblical life is shown in the patterns of the way Jesus lived as displayed in the Gospels. Each of these areas include learning, living, and loving.
Solitude – Jesus took intentional time alone with the Father (Matthew 14:23, Mark 6:46, Luke 6:12, John 6:15). Jesus needed a quiet place to pray – to talk to His Father, to commune with Him, to receive strength and guidance from Him. We believe we are to do the same by taking a portion of time away to specifically be with God.
Community – Jesus intentionally taught his disciples to share with others, connect people to God, and minister to those who were in need alongside them, Jesus spent intentional time with his disciples teaching and doing life with them .
Ministry -Jesus told his disciples from the very start “I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19). Jesus sent the disciples out with specific instructions to share the good news.
